Peer-to-peer support is a proven, evidence-based approach to improving mental health outcomes, with studies in Psychological Medicine and BMC Psychiatry showing significant reductions in symptoms of depression and anxiety, increased hope, and improved quality of life. By creating spaces where individuals can connect through shared experiences, peer support breaks down barriers of stigma and isolation, fostering empowerment and resilience.
