THE REAL is a global mental health movement built on the power of conversation and community to change lives.

Not therapy. Therapeutic.

We read every application. If you're a fit, we'll hit you back. If you don't hear from us, that's your answer, so please don't follow up. Nothing personal. Our community keeps this purely peer-to-peer.

WHO WE WANT

Professionals who believe in the power of REAL conversation and HUMAN connection.

People who want to connect, build friendships, share experiences, and be part of something bigger than themselves.

WHAT OUR COMMUNITY HAS ASKED FOR

Our Ambassadors and Allies have been clear. They want THE REAL to remain a purely peer-to-peer community.

They have asked us not to bring in more coaches, therapists, or people promoting their own initiatives.

All doing important work, but our community has told us that is not what they are looking for.

We are listening to them.

What does it entail?

It is super simple.

Go for a walk or do another activity on the 3rd Saturday of the month — when you can. If you miss one, no worries, we are not taking attendance.

Walk (or do another activity) alone or with others, snap a quick pic, and post it.

Do not worry if you do not have a THE REAL hat yet. You can grab one if you want, but you do not need it to walk.

If you are up for it, join one of our monthly calls — just some light speed-friending so ambassadors and allies from around the world can connect.

That is it. Nothing heavy. We are not keeping score, we are not grading who shows up. This is not about time commitment, it is about being part of something.

THE REAL is really about being part of the community and supporting the mission in whatever way feels right to you. There are not formal requirements or quotas. Some ambassadors and allies get very involved with events, introductions, and amplifying the message. Others support more quietly by showing up to conversations, sharing when it resonates, or simply being part of the circle. All of it matters.

And one more thing — there is no difference between an Ambassador and an Ally. I just made up the words.

That is it. It is no rocket science — just be part of something real.

We will be in touch soon.
